Vinoteks are wine bars that exist throughout Prague. A Vinotek serve only wines and small appetizers like patés, breads and cheeses. Inside they have very limited seating, are cozy, quiet and do not have a Bar feel to them at all.
This one in near to I.P. Pavlova,(pronounced: E. Pay. Pavlova) a section of Prague in Vinohrady, Prague 2. (I know that means nothing to you, my US readers). It was one of the more "upper-crust" Vinoteks I have been to. Very nice. Elegant. Vinoteks also sell wine by the container and the bottle.
Three Friends and former students met me there and we enjoyed some excellent Moravian(southern Czech Republic) wines and Burčák, the sweet new wine, still bubbly and still fermenting and really amazing! We have nothing like it in the US.
