Spent the evening and overnight at the home of good friends in Mukařov, about twenty km south of Prague. It is a small town, with much wooded areas and fields.
It rained most of the day yesterday and was a bit coolish and damp, but after a wonderful meal of Svičkova (Czech dumplings, slices of beef and a rich root vegetable sauce), we settled in for an evening of good conversation, white wine and a warm fire in their fireplace.
Pretty much ideal. Thank you Michal and Andrea. It was lovely.
